Late night blogging!

It's a late and I cannot sleep. This is the MOST frustrating thing for me. Everyone is asleep but not me. So what is a better way to pass the time than blog. I think it's the best thing to do! Today, or yesterday, was my sister and brother-n-law's sixth wedding anniversary. Isn't that great?

Check these two out on their wedding day! What a good lookin' couple! I can remember the first time I met Graham Hale. Leslie brought him home to meet my parents and he was so polite. He brought my Dad and Mom a gift basket and he knew that my mom loved coffee so the basket was coffee themed. What a thoughtful guy!

Look at these guys now! I am so proud of them! J and I are so thankful and proud that we have such a great example! Congratulations on y'alls anniversary! I can't wait for J and I to say...its been six years...I can't wait to say its been 50 years!

Plus, any two people that can create such a beautiful, giggly, sweet, blue-eyed, smart, and curly headed little girl must have great chemistry and genes!

Well here is something I know y'all have just been dying to see! (Just Kidding) It's my new car, everyone welcome the 2003 Volks Wagon Beetle Turbo. She has stolen my heart! J picked her out for me, isn't she a beauty? I have had so much fun zipping around in her. She has automatic windows, seat warmers, and cruise control (which is nice on those long drives to MO.) What a jewel, I just love her.

Josh has given me his camera so I can grow my photography skills. When I was uploading some pictures a few days ago I found these...I cried, it brought back so many wonderful memories.

This is J and I on our first date! I can't believe it. We went to Rainforest Cafe...I love that place, it's so fun. Then we went and saw "Disturbia" which oddly enough is the title of a hit Rihanna song now. The funny thing about the movie is that we went to see it in IMAX and the movie wasn't made for IMAX so we could see the mics and the equipment through out the movie. This really numbed the "scary" effect.

Oh, the white, Mizzou hat. I love that hat. I really liked him here (still do.), I remember thinking how bummed I would be if he wasn't the one I was going to spend the rest of my life with. Now he is. The Lord has a funny way of working all things together for good. I praise Him for Josh and my future with him.

Everyone have a great Sunday. I have got to get some sleep now. Check out this great sleepy time song, it's one of J's favs.

Give it up for "Glee"!

Well...I decided to come home to good ole' Magnolia again. It will be a weekend full of my mom watching Lifetime, my dad watching trivia shows, and me doing homework. Can you believe it? One day of class and I already have homework. I have a paper due on Thursday in my Ethnics in Media class...school never stops. But, I am so excited for this weekend, a nice time to chill, catch up on my blogging and enjoy some time with my family. I also get to catch up with my fav. TV shows. Tonight, I got to watch the pilot episode for "Glee" I CANNOT wait for it to come on in the fall! It is such a new and creative way to watch TV. Check it our on FOX. So good. Also, here is their take on Don't Stop Believing by Journey (one of my favorite songs to jam!...btw, don't stop believe'n...ever.) I desperatly wish I was up there singing with them, I would rock out. In one part of the episode, the Glee Club goes to see their rival school's performance. Take a look at their take on Rehab by Amy Winehouse. Believe me, the show is more than show, song, and dance. The writing is hilarious and unique, gotta love creative television, especially in these times. I haven't been this excited about TV since Pushing Daises aired and just ask J, that has been along time. Tonight was a great night of Magnolia sushi (questionable) and converation with my parents. I love them dearly and I am excited to be home for a few days. Everyone, have a good evening I hope to have blog with pictures tomorrow...fingers crossed.

My Internet...STINKS!

Ok...Ok...I know I said I would Blog soon with pictures and everything and I still plan to do that but, I have no internet at my apartment so I am going to give you a quick update.
1. About two weeks ago...I GOT A NEW CAR! Yes, I found a new one. I am so proud of it. Guess what it is? A VW Beetle, haha! Two Beetles back to back. Gotta love it! Josh found it for me, checked everything out and we bought it. But, now, there is an oil leak. Please pray that it is nothing major.
2. Last weekend J and I got to spend a little time with the Hale's. It was amazing! So much fun to hang out with my sis, Graham, and ofcourse little Ava Grace. Ava and I played dress-up, play-dough, throw all the books and fake fruit on the floor, and we waved at each other for about twenty minutes. Truely, I love spending time with my neice, she is such a sweet, little, goof ball! Plus, her humor is so genuine, if you ever get to hang with AG you should. I recommend it.
3. I had to move into a new room. It was stupid. But, I got it done.
4. I have two new room mates for the summer. They're nice.
5. School starts tomorrow. Grose.
6. CONGRATS Kris Allen!
7. I miss J desperatly.
8. J has a Rooster hanging out in his backyard. Strange.
Well that is really all that has happened in my life these past couple of days. I hope to have pics and a non-oil-leaking car soon. I'll leave you with a great song, it gets me really pumped up! I really can't understand what they're saying...but I have loved this band for ahwile and am dying to get some more of their music..we've been apart to long! Mom, you are not gonna like this, it's too modern for you. Also, my favorite moment from the American Idol finale, lets just say...Kara is awesome. Oh! and I want you to have the privledge of reading a text my mom sent me, it is just a little glimpse into our relationship.
Prolouge: My mom was texting me about my car wanting to find out the latest news. I answered all of her questions and then she began to tell me about her day.
Mom: Well 2day I drove up from church and a dead possum was laying in the yard and buzzards were on it. I moved it by shovel 2 the woods. It was heavy.
Me:Mom! You crack me up! Well you got your work out!
Mom:No kidding! Buzzards r big close up! They did not attack but they watched close! All I can figure is it fell out of a tree.
Have a good memorial day!

What a Saturday!

I have spent most of the day looking for cars. No luck. But, hopefully I will find something in the Sunday News Paper. Tonight, my mother and I have watched "Because I Said So",which I love...I must add it to my DVD collection soon, "Message In A Bottle", which is the most depressing movie ever, and "Bed of Roses", I forgot how much I love this movie. So our evening has been filled will sappy movies, I just know J is going to be so excited about that! Not. Anyways, I had a wonderful time hanging out with my mom, I always do. We spent most of the afternoon looking at cars, then we came home and died of laughter at the ABC show that is similar to those Chinese obsticale course shows. I can't remember the name of it, but it was such a blast getting to laugh histerically with my mom.
I found this sweet, little bag today, I have kind of being looking for a new one. I have carried the same Kavu bag, which I have loved, for awhile now, and I am wanting a fun summer bag. But, I bought a clutch a few weeks ago for $10 dollars, I'll never do that again, just not me. But...my favortie clothing store, J.Crew came through for me, it's the perfect color too. Next time I got to see J I am going to stop and see if they have it in stock. Maybe on sale! That would be splendid!
Have a wonderful Mother's Day everyone! Here is a song I have been loving as of late. It's fun!

3 Reasons To Celebrate!

There are three reason to celebrate this weekend!
Reason Number 1:It is FINALLY over! I have exactly 12 hours (in college) to go before I am offically a public relations, strategic communciator! Whooo hooo!!!! I can't even explain how blissfully happy I am! Now that school has finished, I have a few weeks before I begin my Graphic Desing class. Today, my mom is comming to pick me up (If you didn't already know, my car is gone...see post below.) and we are heading to Magnolia, I am hoping to find a new car with a resonable price tag. Let's keep our fingers crossed. I am really wanting a Honda Civic so maybe the cards will fall in my favor.
Reason Number 2: I can finally start putting the love and devotion into planning Josh and mine's wedding. I haven't had time to sit down and really make plans so I am exstatic that school is out. More planning and organizing! I hope to get a wedding book soon! Josh is already ahead of me, he already has our honey moon planned (we're taking a cruise) and some of our excursions planned! Ah! I am so excited!
Reason Number 3: It's mother's day weekend! Everyone celebrate your mommy! I have an especially wonderful mom. Very few people have a mother like mine, she is a doll. Many mothers talk in circles, laugh at their own jokes, and watch Lifetime. But not many mothers, have an obsession with Pat Summit, listen to new artist such as Ingrid Michaleson and Imogen Heap, while holding on to the oldies like Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles, have seen EVERY episode of Law and Order SVU and ER. And, only one mother, could be a mother to me. So here is to my mother! Donna I love you!

May's Wish List

It's a late night post. J went to bed early so, it looks like it is an evening with Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet. But, I thought since today still is May 1st, I thought I would post my May wish list. Just a few things, and not quite so out-landish this time!
1. Oh Joy! is one of my favorite blogs, they post such great products, really interesting and original. I found these suitcases a few months ago and just fell in love with them. I love the floral one.
2. Now, my favorite Fossil watch has died and so I have been looking for a new watch. In one of my bridal magazines I found Griffin and Cooke watches, you can pick out the face and then buy bands to change out. I love it...my favorite face is the simple white, my favorite bands are: solid- pale blue, strip - purple and white, my favorite check is...ofcourse, the green, and I like the plaid number 1 . Check these out! There my favorite watches now! I am wanting one so bad, I need a new watch and these are especially cool.
3. I found these in a wedding magazine as well, but I think they are the most adorable wedding toppers by Goose Grease on ETSY, there so fun! Plus you can customize them to look like you and your groom, I would love to see the what J's and mine would look like! Check them out here, you can also make your own family.

4. Finally, if you know me well enough, you know that I love the movie "Penelope". I have wanted to own this movie so bad for a long time. I plan to add it to my DVD collection soon. Check out the trailer and the movie, it is a classic.

Well, that's all for the latenight post! Have a great weekend!
