Whew!

Whew! As I sit eating my very quick dinner, but an Oh so good dinner ( a frozen pizza); I thought I would love to talk to my blogging friends! Hello Friends! How was your weekend? Mine was full of happiness because J was here! Yay! On Saturday and Sunday we hung out with my parents in Fort Smith and played with sweet, little Ava Grace on her amazing new swing set! It was such a blast! Last night, J and I went to worship and then for a walk at the Big Dam Bridge, followed by a nice dinner at Macaroni Grill! What a weekend?
I thought I wasn't going to get to see J until Thursday when I head up there for 4th of July weekend, well I was wrong! Yay! I am heading up tomorrow! Please pray for safe travel to MO and back! I love the drive, but I have been nervous driving it since my accident.
This weekend J and I will be doing some work in the yard and then heading to St. Louis to spend time with his side of the family for 4th of July. While we are up there J and I are going to try to go to the City Museum. It's a museum that is for everyone, kids, adult, grandparents, whoever! But, it's really interactive so I'm really excited! I hope we get to make it over there! Everyone have a great evening and rest of the week! I will try to post back soon! Yay! Celebrate our nations birthday!

Mini Fridge

I haven't spent this lovely, hot, Thursday afternoon writing. After my run this morning I came back to sit down and write a quick book report on Ben Burns, followed by a report on an ethnic television broadcast while jamming to BJ and Tommy Stinson. Both were not too painful so, I finished quickly, which is always good. Boy! Am I excited for this weekend! Here are the top 6 reasons why:
6.Possibly going to the zoo
5.Possibly going to rock climb
4.Swimming with Ethina and Neill
3.Seeing my parents
2.Seeing Ava Grace
1.Josh is comming to visit
Oh it is going to be so much fun! I cannot wait!! Yay! Hooray!
I am surprised at the vast amount of food a mini-fridge can hold. My old roomie Ethina let me borrow her mini fridge so I could keep my food cold. Thanks Ethina! Anywho, I thought I might give you a glimpse into what is in my newly cooled mini fridge.

Get a look at this guy! I mean filled to the brim with goodies! I'll break this whole thing down for you...

Top Shelf: A gallon of Arizona Green Tea, a jug of Bolthouse Organic Vanilla Chai Tea -- it's a protein drink I like to have after I run so really it's more of a protein shake. Relish for Tuna I don't just eat relish, I like it in my Tuna Salad. And last but not least my Britta Water filter.

Second Shelf: Real simple here - eggs, salsa, mayo. I don't like mayo at all, but I like it with my Tuna salad.

Bottom: Milk, Pineapple-Orange Juice, and a pitcher of Arnold Palmer's, I just learned of this drink 2 weeks ago and I am obsessed! I love it! This pitcher was my first batch and I made it for J and I to drink this weekend. I am nervous, I want to impress him with my Arnold Palmer making abilities.

Door top: 2 lemons and 4, I mean 3 peaches. I just devoured one.

Door middle: To Naked juices -- Pomegranate Blueberry and Blue Machine, my fav's. and some mustard

Door Side: This is really meant for holding can drinks, but I do not have any so I put all my restaurant condiments there. Everything from Taco Bell Mild sauce to Louisiana sauce from Popeye's.

Door Bottom: A bottle of Perrier and coffee creamer

It really is a blessing having my fridge in my room, it makes for a much easier transition for getting something to eat. Yay! Thanks E!

What are your plans for this weekend? Anything exciting? I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! And remember your SPF 30!

Fire Fly Studio!

Well Ladies and Gents, guess what? I got a job. A great job. A marvolous job. Yes, I am starting work at the Firfly Studio on July 6th! What is the Firefly Studio you ask? Well it's pottery place where you, yes you, can come and paint and decorate many different styles of pottery to your liking, your style, or to fit the your home. It is so natural and cool inside the studio and the employees are kind and eager to help! If you would like to swing by take the Rodney Parham exit in Little Rock and head towards the Chili's. It's in the shopping center with Chili's, The Crown Shop, Whole Foods and some other especially cool places. Please come by! You won't regret it! Check it out here if you would like to get a very small glimpse into Fire Fly.
Tonight, I am sitting at my computer, eating a turkey and cheese sandwhich, with a Twizzler for dessert and a nice glass of green tea. I started a movie like I do everynight, tonight it was the classic and one of my fav.'s "You've Got Mail". J would say "Girl, you are a creature of habbit." Well it was time to check my email when I opened it and to my surprise I found this...
A gift...FOR ME, From who? Josh. He is so splendily great! He always finds a way to sneek one up on me. But, actually this one wasn't so much of a sneek. He tried to give it to me two days ago but, there was an issue so he had to contact iTunes for some help. I am over joyed and love the CD!A few days ago I blogged about how much I loved the acustic music from Catch and Release...this is THE CD! I have already uploaded and have listened to it! I plan to wake up to "Fritz and Gray Walk the Creek". It will be awsome! I can't wait! Thank you, ThAnK yOu, THANK YOU JOSH! I love you always.
Well it is late! 12:19 Holy Cow! I have been organizing food and moving things around all day (long story) and I am pooped! I guess I am going to lay my head down and try to get some sleep! Have a good night!

Down By The Bay!

Good afternoon! I hope you have had a good morning! After the most depressing night lastnight, (Jon and Kate announcing their divorce) I was excited to begin a new day! I enjoyed a little bit of Anne and Matt before heading to the running trail. I had to get down their early because the heat was rising! Al was talking about the weather and he pulled up a shot of the US and a huge red blob of red coving the whole state of Arkansas. So welcome back summer, Holy Cow! It's hot!
Here are some pictures from my run and walk today, it was so nice to get to hang out and chill, well sweat, in the sun.

Just in case you didn't know, the name of the bridge/park where I run is called "Big Dam Bridge". I think it's funny.

This lady was pushing it! She had a new born in the stroller and she was trying to loose her baby weight. Good luck lady!

The River Trail of Pulaski County. Makes sense.

HOLY COW! Check out that water! While I was standing on the top of the dam I saw this group of kids standing just laughing to their hearts content. When I got closer, I could see what they were doing. They were throwing empty plastic water bottles into the water to see how fast the water could take them away. The youth of America ladies and gentlemen.

Look at this guy! All around the bridge are signs that say "Warning Dangerous Water, Caution" granted, once you're away from the dam the water is calm. But, this guy set up shop right on the dam! I couldn't believe it! My question is how the heck did he get out there? Surely he didn't swim, right?

These were the only flowers in bloom because the sun has scorched them all dead. Sad.

Is this as funny as I thought it was? I sure hope so.

It was such a fun day down by the river, if you have a chance to go, especially at night, you should.

Question, I have a Flickr account and I love uploading my pics, but I am really not sure how to use it. Does anyone have any advice? Let me know! I'd really appreciate it!

Well the rest of the afternoon looks like a home pedicure and class! To top of this post I think I'll leave you with one of my favorite songs, these guys could move and were super talented. Give it up for the Jackson 5! Have a great day!

Weekend Surfing

Did you guys have a good weekend? I sure did. I ended Saturday with a movie and a phone date with J. It was great! Yesterday was lazy, movies and TV, followed by a run after worship. Sunday I found some really interesting things on the internet.

1. I finally saw the trailer for Away We Go...it looks so funny. For any of you Jim and Pam fans out there my favorite actor...yes, he has recently stolen the title, John Krasinski is the husband to Maya Rudolph, one of my fav. SNL stars, along with my favorite actress, Maggie Gyllenhaal make up part of this great cast! Check out the trailer here. So funny.

2. Isn't this such a cool ring? It is called a "Forget Me Knot" ring and can be found on fredflare.com. I am the queen of forgetfulness and this is the perfect accessory for some one like me. Check it out here!

3. I also found these at fredflare.com, pretty cool huh? I feel like I could actually eat one of these! Just so you know they are erasers! Yea, erasers. Pretty cool huh? fredflare.com has alot of interesting cool things. It's a fun website too!

This weekend I also realized there is alot I don't know about blogging. For example, what the heck is google reader? I have no idea how to use it. Help? I have also been trying to figure out how to change my background. I found this one I really, really, like but I cannot seem to get it to change over. Help, again? I am such a rookie blogger and it shows.

Wedding planning is comming along nicely! I am so excited for the next big thing, which is getting my dress! Whoo Hoo! My mom, Josh's mom - Mrs. Kim, Leslie, and Brooke will be joining me to get my dress on July 18th. I am so pumped I can barely stand it. But, I am nervous to find exactly what I am looking for. Everyone keeps telling me that when you put it on you know, kind of like when you meet your hubby, you just know. I am hoping for the same expirience with my dress.

For the majority of my life I have been a petless person. Until recently when I became the owner of two fish, Bella and Sir Lanchester Beauregard, they are now deceased. But, my whole life my parents were anti-dog. I really don't know why, maybe because they just never like dogs. Who knows? But, there was a time in my life where we owned a poodle named PJ, he was awful, after that no more dogs. But, I have always loved dogs and I feel that I have found the perfect dog for J and I once we are able to afford one. Which will most likely be years and years from now. So here she is!

This is the hopeful future memeber of J and mine's family. It will probably still be just us two when we get a dog so we are excited to welcome her. I was nervous about telling Josh that I wanted a "her", but he wanted a "her" too so we are both in agreement! Hooray! Out of all the information I have read on Jack Russell Terriers there has been nothing negative about the breed. They are loyal, sweet, obeident dogs. The are kind and loving to their owners. And are clean as far as they do not shed and are quick learners. Which is good for outdoor potty training! So this is the possible, future, Olive Jane Blackman. J and I haven't talked names, but I liked that one so I thought I would give it a whirl. I already know that it is to girly for his tastes. So, what do you think? I just love her.
I hope everyone has a great day, even though it is scorching outside! Here is a Jason Mraz cover of an old Seals and Crofts song (my mom probably has their greatest hits) Summer Breeze. This song makes me want tall glass of half sweet tea and half lemonae. mmm. Have a nice evening!

L'armoire

My last post was a good look into "My Space" but, I wanted to let you guys in on how I keep this place running like a well oiled (picture me saying this in my southern Arkansas accent) machine. To be honest, I lot of my orgazination ideas come from my sister. She is pratically the queen. But, I have to admit, I love a good organized space, what am I saying, I love an organized anything. For example, my back pack, here is an scenario that happened this semester between a professor and myself.

Dr. Rucks: One of you guys got a pencil?
Me: Yes sir, I do.
I put my messengar bag on the table and open the flap to reveal my pens, pencils, and highlighters, all in their own place.
Dr. Rucks: Whoa! Hold on! WE have an OCD on her hands! Wow, that's organized.
Me: It's just easier that way.
Dr. Rucks: Sure, sure.
Elyse: Kelsey's bag always looks like that.

This is the story of my life, or my life beginning in high school. It really didn't become a lifestyle until I matured a little bit. Following a great example, my sister's, has made me a pretty organized, clean person.

I hope you can use some of these methods I have developed in the past 5 or 6 years. Let me know what you think!

Today, I'll introduce you to my closet. Since I have such a small closet I have to make sure I use the space to it's full ablitly, it occured to me that the best way to do it would be...let's say it all together now...ORGANIZATION!!! Yay!

So, I learned a few years ago that keeping clothes organized by color is certainly the best policy for me. It makes things quick and easy in the morning. Obiviously, I love light colors, pastels and whites...I know I need to expan my clothing selection, but I am not quite that brave. Anywho, basically I keep my summer and winter tops here; although, most of my clothes are season trasitional, so that's a plus. Light sweaters, and heavy sweaters are here also. Again, easy to find and grab during the morning rush.

Here's a great tip my sis taught me just a few months ago and she's completly right! Using all the same color hangers keep, the closet looking nice and neat. It's true! Multi-color hangers floating in the closet make's for an unorganzied feel, all white really changed everything for me. Thanks sis!

This is what I hope to buy for J and me to stalk our closets with. These are so nice and they are only 3.95 for a pack of 8 at Ikea. I think these are an excellent investment in the long run.

Ok, this I know looks cramped, but there is a complete method here. As I said before, matching hangers make your closet look nice and neat, but I ran of white hangers along time ago. So this has been my compromise for the duration. If you can see the two clearing hangers infront of the clothe hangers those hold my skirts, color coded of course. Followed by clothe hangers holding my party dresses. These dresses cost me a little bit more money so I decided to give them a little extra care. Followed by the rest of my dresses, which are on a hanger that matches the color of the dress. Followed by my blazers and leather coat my dad gave me. Followed by two winter, puffy, vests on matching hangers and my winter coats on black hangers. The one orange lone hanger in the back is my rain coat, from Jr. High cheerleading, my umbrella also hangs on that hanger. It keeps things simple, plus, that rain coat is amazing, I never get my clothes wet when it rains!

This is my shoe bag, I got it at Wal-Mart for 3.00 and it has been an amazing help! Shoes are organized by amout of use, from constantly worn to not so much. If you can see behind the shoe bag there are some dresses. These are my floor lenth dresses and need the most room to breath, so they usually stay back there and hang as long as they need to!

These little beauties have been with me since my freshmen year of college. Yes, they were senior gifts when I graduated. I wish I didn't have as much laundry as I do or I would use these guys for laundry. But, they are great pant storage. I don't believe in hanging pants. Maybe I don't believe in it because I do not have the room, but I have learned if you folding pants really crisp, makes wrinkles few. The second basket holds sweats and work out shorts. Which I am running low, most of my running shorts are in the hamper. Can you say laundry?

Praise the Lord for Tupperware drawers! The have been a life saver! The top two drawers are filled with tshirts, I am an avid t-shirt wearer. The third drawer is filled with sweat shirts.

These two baskets hold my purses, they are again, orgainzed by color. On top of them are my totes and travel bags. Can you see my bee luggage tag? I love it! I have an obsession with bee's every since Pushing Daises entered my life.

Sorry for the terrible picture but, this is the other side of the top of my closet. The striped canvas box is filled with my wither hats, scarfs, and gloves. Followed by my wellies, and a few pairs of high-heels that I own. Heels aren't really my style, but I do still own a few pairs.

Here a few intersting things, or atleast I think so, that you can find in my closet. I love...LOVE my little, snow man slippers. They are amazing and comfy. I got them last winter and can't wait to put them on my feet this winter. I like this green bag. Original. But, I couldn't tell you where I got, I just like it. That white, little, mesh bag? Yea that's a Vera Bradley golfing glove. Thanks Katy! And finally, my Whoopie Cushion Halloween costume. Good times!

Thanks so much for sticking with me this whole time! Let me know what you think! What do you do to keep your closet nice and organized? Have a nice Saturday!

Mi Casa

This post will be a little long because I have decided to give you a tour of my penthouse! Not Really. Just my room, small, quant, little room. I am mostly here when I am at home, it's always easier to stay and work here. So, lets not waste anymore time! Let's get started! I know you all are so excited!

This is the best 360 shot I could get. You see, my room is very small, so this picture does a good job showing its' size. But, I love it. It is mine after all. I like low-lighting so usally one lamp is on, I have two for a special photo effect.

This is my night stand. Full of books, a blinding lamp, a picture of J and I, iHome, and my basket full of night time goodies such as: Glasses, Vicks, chap stick, remote controls, the usual.

This is my beddie by, sorry for the blur, again I like low lighting, I think it makes it feel more like home. My bed is so comfy, I could stay in it all day and I am not going to lie. I have.

How about my dresser drawers? Pretty boring, except for the picture of Callie Bullock. That empty fish tank is pretty sad huh? RIP Sir Lanchester Beaureagard.

I figured out that being in a small space, room goes from little to none very quickly. But, I also realized with high ceilings moving upward allows for more space. This is my desk, full of goodies!

Baskets that hold pens, markers, tech. stuff, stationary, and my craft supplies. DVD's, TV, DVD player, picture frames, and a flower arrangment. There ya go.

This is basically my reading knook. I sit here and do homework, read, bloggins, tons of stuff. And yes, that is a yoga mat in the back ground. I
am a complete and sold out yoggie!
Well, that's it! I hope everyone has a great rest of the evening!

BJ and Tommy Stinson

Saturday was a nice day of hiking, reading, and studying. Everything was really nice, the weather, the trails, the music I listened to. Lovely. I am currently having a lazy Wednesday and have spent most of the day working on homework and contacting employers. Please be in prayer about my job situation, it is quite the need right now. Also, I have been working on a lot of school plans, I am sitting on a couple of things that need to be done and UALR is the worst with following through. Whose ready for college to be over? Me. Who is ready to be married living where ever the Lord takes you? I. Who is ready to find a job in a non-profit organization? Me. As you can tell my plans are pretty clear for I want, lets see how they work out. How was your weekend?
Well...everyone knows my obsession with candy. I have the largest sweet tooth. Infact, my favorite part of Willy Wonka is when they walk into the candy room and Will sings "Pure Imagination"(Also, one of J's fav. songs).

My favorite candy. There is somethings so fresh about a good peice of peppermint. I even drop one in my coffee in the morning. Yummy. Infact, the first thing J ever gave me was a peppermint. The first time he met me.

Who dosen't love these guys? Well a lot of people, but I love them. The Fresh Market has a great selection. Plus, they have Watermelon a very "hard-to-come-by" flavor. mmm.

These are always fun! Candy Necklaces! I want to give AG one as soon as her parents say it's ok! There are so much fun to eat, plus they leave a stain on your nevk from sucking on the candy. It's awesome. Not really. But, they are still fun, no matter what.

I love Salt Water Taffy! Again, The Fresh Market has a great selection of taffy.

I love me some Gummy Bears, I could eat a whole bag in one sitting. When I was a kid (I had quite the imagination by the way.) I would make my Gummy Bears dance and give them personalities. I think Gummy Bears should have personalities, it makes for a much more interesting candy expirience.

Well, today I have been watching You've Got Mail, I found it used at Hastings along with Catch and Release. I love the music in Catch and Release, there is Joshua Radin, Foo Fighters, The Lemonheads, and the ever ingenious Death Cab for Cutie. I absoulutly adore the soundtrack and not neccisarily for the songs with lyrics, but also the instrumentals. Beautiful. Catch and Relase is set in Bolder, CO. so the music really fits that atomosphere. The acustic songs are only on the soundtrack and they are played by BJ and Tommy Stinson. Good stuff! Check it out, if you can find it anywhere. Have a wonderful day!

Men see things in a box and women see them in a round room.

Well today begins another Saturday, I absoulutly love lazy Saturdays. This morning has just been a bowl of Frosted Flakes a peppermint coffee and "Elizabethtown" one of my favorite movies. Which I suddenly cannot seem to find, I'll have to ask my room mates. One of my favorite lines from a movie comes from Elizabethtown. Claire, who is also one of my favorite characters ever, is talking about her personnel interview, and she says "I am impossible to forget, but hard to remember." What a great line? Plus, I have had the Elizabethtown soundtrack since the movie came out, so good.
Elizabethtown reminds me so much of J and I the early years. We talked on the phone every night for hours before we actually met each other. It was so interesting, sometimes I think we got all of our conversations out then because we talked sooo much. It was so fun and exciting, I have told people before I really loved Josh before I ever met him. I knew him so well, just because we talked, all night long sometimes. There is one scene in the movie where Claire and Drew are on the phone and they chat all night. It was so me when I first started getting to know Josh, hilarious. Here is the scene, the classic scene, the best movie conversation ever. I say movie, because I believe J and I had better real-life convos. But, it is very charming! I appologize for the song playing in the back ground, the language is very graphic, I do not think it added at all to the scene. What do you think Ryan Adams or no Ryan Adams?
Well now I that I have blogged about Elizabethtown, tell me, what are you up to this weekend? Here is my weekend plans.
1. Walk around at the Big Dam Bridge...take some pictures, read, hang out. Be outside, my favorite thing.
2. Walk around Target and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Kind of looking around for J and I.
3. Morning run tomorrow. I ususally take Fridays and Saturdays off during the week, so tomorrow morning will be a great way to start the Sunday.
4. Go to worship, I have been visiting Epoch Church for a couple of weeks and worship starts at 6 p.m. I enjoy a evening worhsip, it's cooler. The temperature I mean.
5. Go for a good bike ride. I haven't been able to ride as much, sadly.
6. Find a new artist. Who is classic. Buy the CD and love it.
Here is a fun song and a funny video! Have a great Saturday!

What's My time?

I love running. Running has been apart of my life since I was in Jr. High when I had my first track and field expirience, followed by 2 years of cross country and track and field at the highschool level. I would have ran for 3 but I tore my ACL my junior year of high school. It was lame. I also ran two years at CBC and really enjoyed running collegiate cross country. While I was at CBC I really developed a passion for running, it became more than a sport but a very pleasurable time during my day. Do you guys like to run? What's an activity you can't get enough of?
Well for the past few weeks I have been looking for some replacements. I have been an Asics girl since the 7th grade. Hey...when you find something you love, why change? Well the good ole' brown Asics are starting to wear and tear, I have had them for 2 years and they have alot of miles on them. So it's time for some new kicks...quitting a pair of running shoes is like a break up. It always makes me sad, I have put alot into these shoes and now, I have to go and find some other pair to work. I am just not "ok" about it. Check these bad boys out!

The Gel Speed Star 3 - made for people like me who don't absorb shock from the trail/road/track very well. Excellent shoe, really sleek. Plus, who wouldn't take a runner seriously wearing these? They seem pretty intense to me.

Introducing the Gel Trail Attack - and I quote "Designed to meet the needs of runners who prefer to take their run off road." What can I say? I love this shoe! First and foremost, "ATTACK" is in the name of the shoe. It gets me pumped just thinking about it. Next, the laces are saweett! Plus the colors are pretty amazing! This shoe is perfect for me, a trail runner. I love it!

I am torn between the two, I absoultly love and adore both of these little babies, advice? I'd love to know what you think! Here is one last goodie I have been dying to get!

I have been using my same Nike headband since high school...I need a new one, I only where them in the summer, my forehead sweats alot, and as funny as these look, they really help!
I love running quotes here are few inspirational quotes from some of the greats!
"It hurts up to a point and then it doesn't get any worse." - Ann Trason
"Running is my church." - Joan Van Ark
"Running is a big question mark that's there each and every day. It asks you, "Are you going to be a wimp or are you going to be strong today?" - Peter Maher
"Alot of people run a race to see who is the fastest. I run to see who has the most guts." - Steve Prefontaine
These people are some of the most dedicated runners in history, I love their passion and dedication to the race and the run. I hope to continue being a runner for the rest of my life, I couldn't imgaine my life without it.
Here is a nike commerical that came out last summer, I prefer Asics to Nike, but Nike has a great advertising department! Such a cool commercial! Have a great day!

"To - Do" List

I am so sorry for the delay in post; I went to see J this weekend and did not bring the good ole' Gateway along for the ride. But, I will never do that again. I missed blogging WAY to much! How was your weekend? Well...this will be quite along post because I have realized that I am far behind. As of late, I have been searching for a job, please keep this situation in your prayers. This weekend with J was so much fun, but I forgot my camera, so no pics. If there is anything I would like you to see from this weekend it is J's interpretive dance. He has been watching "So You Think You Can Dance?" and he has his on special take on the interpretive dance the dancers perfromed recently. Hilarious. Again, I will never forget my camera again. On Friday, J and I rode down to Kirksville and spent some time with his family, they are always so warm and welcome. On Saturday, Josh made a pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon, (we love the piggies!), the tenderloin was surrounded by carrots and potatoes, and a side of green beans. YUM! J also took me to Sonic to try the new Bunt Cake Hot Fudge Sunday. I have been wanting to try this for awhile and it was not a disappointment. After J's softball game on Sunday we rode back to Columbia for some "quality time", which consisted of pepporoni and bacon pizza, cheesey bread, lipton tea and a marathon of HGTV shows. We are pretty boring. We might be boring but it was a great weekend filled with good food.
I have been so busy with things that I have not even thought about my June's wish list. It's quite simple this month actually. Instead of a wish-list, it is more of a "to-do " list.
1. To see Josh sooner rather than later
2. To purchase a bag of chocolate ( I have been really wanting something sweet)
3. To learn how to make homemade biscotti, rhubarb tart, and scones as seen on Chez Larrson (one of my top blogs)
4. Learn how to make fresh lemonade from fresh lemons rather than store bought mix. Mainly because I want to have a pitcher of "Arnold Palmer's" always available at J and I's humble home.
5. Fix Printer...must do!
6. Fill wedding book with lists, schedules, calendars, names and numbers
7. Study prices for a French Press
8. Mature my chop-stick skills
9. Still wanting a Griffin and Cooke watch
10. Finda a job ( my most improtant "to-do")
I have been searching and searching for one of my favorite movies to come on television I have a sad report. "You've Got Mail" will not be airing in the next 14 days according to TV Guide dot com. I am so bummed, I always look forward to a cup of coffee and "You've Got Mail". Maybe things will change. Here's a good song by Rocco Deluca, I was just introduced to him yesterday, have a good day!

Wednesday, June 3, 2009

I hope everyone is having a great day! It's been rainy today so I have been inside most of the day...bummer. I am worth nothing on rainy days, I just want to stay inside and read. I have two homework assignments that need to be completed and I have just not been in the mood. But, I will start them asap, meaning as soon as I am done with this blog, so really...asaiadwtb (whoa, what if that bacame an acronym?!) But, anyways...I have searched and searched for a wedding planning book after not finding anything I like I decided I'd make my own. The contents are pretty slim right now but, I hope to fill it with lists, calendars, ideas, and etc. I would go ahead and fill my little book with all of those things, but my printer is whack. So right now, it's a no go. But, hopefully soon, very soon! Here are some pics of my little book.

These are the supplies I got to make my own wedding planning book. All of this only turned out to be 22.00 dollars, all the books I saw were over 4o dollars. Ridiculous? I think so.

This is the finished project! I think it turned out really fun! I love checks and mint green so I could help but make it my favorite colors. Yellow polka-dot ribbon, some baby-blue satin ribbon, and a button top of my home made book.

Here is the inside, (with my toes) sorry for the brown stain on the carpet...I spilt some of my bronzer today, I hate it when that happens! I hope to fill it with wedding goodies soon! I already have my calendars made, some lists, I'm working on my invitations and "Save the Date" lists, (thats a constant). And I have thought about making a special section for songs J and I like and want played at the reception. I just can't wait! Its all so exciting!

Check out a song that has been playing on the radio alot lately and is by one of my favorite artists! Have a good day!

A Fish Funeral is never Fun.

What a weekend! I had such a good time spending time with my parents and watching tons of TV.
Here are my Top 10 weekend highlights:
1. My mom's French Press Coffee, yummo!
2. Watching the pilot episode of "Glee"...hilarious.
3. More wedding plans are complete! Whoo-Hooo!
4. Sleeping in my old room, which looks nothing like my old room anymore.
5. Watching Ava Grace dance to Damien Rice, priceless.
6. Comming home with a Sam's Club cooler bag full of: Arizona Green Tea, Pierre Carbonated Water, Bolthouse Farms - Green Goodness (it's kind of like Naked juice, but cheaper.) and some Apple and Grape bites.
7. Watcing "You've Got Mail" with my mom. I have a special appreciation for this movie...does anyone know why?
8. Great News! Pushing Daises is BACK! Well, for atleast 3 weeks that is. ABC has decided to air the last 3 episodes this summer! yes yes yes!
9. My mom's goofy sense of humor, she has an exceptional ability to provide laughter even when she is serious as a heart attack. To me, the fact that she his serious is hilarious.
10. Finding out why my car makes a weird noise when the spoiler comes down. A little W-D 40 fixed that right up.

Even though I had an amazing weekend with my family, I came home to an utter tradgedy. My fish, Sir Lanchester Beauregard has passed away. I am seriously upset, the tank looks so sad without him in it. I am guessing he died soon after I left on Wednesday because I came home to a stinky room and a decomposing fish. It was very sad and grose.

Here he is swimming around, the picture quality is terrible and you cannot see his bug-eyes.

This is J and I making fun of Sir Lanchester Beaureagard and Bella. Bella seemed to be a happy fish and if Sir Lanchester could show emotion I would imagine he would have looked exactly like J does in this picture.

Eventhough I had a funeral to attend yesterday, (It was just me, Sir Lanchesters' corpse, and a toilet) the day ended great. I had a good girl gab with Brookey, watching the Kings of Leon perform at the MTV awards, and ofcourse seeing the "New Moon" trailer. It was fantastic. Here is a great song by RadioHead, it's actually my favorite by them. The King's of Leon singing Use Somebody (One of my Fav's.) and the "New Moon" trailer. Have a great one!
